Whitman Collectable vintage Childrens Big Little Books

You've probably seen Little Golden Books, Big Little Books, and Better Little Books but have you seen Whittman books? these low-cost young adult books were published by the same company. Whitman Publishing Company was a subsidiary of Western Printing & Lithographing Company of Racine, Wisconsin, which got into the children’s book business in 1916. Now, the company sells coin collecting books. Hard to find in pristine condition because they were made cheaply. The books sell for around $5- $20. The Trixie Belden and Donna Parker book series is well loved by book collectors. Hardy Boys was also published by I imagined would be scared to find it's a very loved series.  In my shop I am selling four for $20, one of which includes a book that was an officially licensed Disney movie tie-ins. Plus two classics, Black Beauty and a book by Louisa May Alcott. This book lot  is appealing on a shelf and a great gift for a vintage book collector expanding their children's book collection.
